Who We Are
MKEWECO was born out of a deep concern for the vanishing wildlife and deteriorating ecosystems around the Mt. Kenya region. What started as a small group of passionate conservationists has now grown into a grassroots organization dedicated to environmental protection, wildlife conservation, and sustainable community development.
We believe that people and nature can thrive together — and that conservation works best when local communities are at the heart of the solution.
